The Jin Chronicles
"where is Jin!, He's late!" a rather angry and worried man said, pacing up and down
stopping to look at the clock "he said 10 to 5, right?" the man said looking at his friend
"don't worry Tenchi, he'll be here, when has he ever let you down" the other man said
without a care "well there was that one time" Tenchi said pondering the past "that wasn't
his fault, I swear Tenchi, you worry to much" the man said "yes well maybe you should
worry Kechii, i know he never lost before but maybe this time was too much" Tenchi said
sitting down on the floor, it had well gone past 10 to 5 and now was quarter past 6 "well i
cant wait any more, I'm hungry, you want any thing?" Kechii said getting and pushing into
his back making cracking sounds "not thanks, I'm ok" said Tenchi relaxing a bit "ok see
ya later" at that Kechii walked out of the house in search of food "come on Jin, I'm waiting
on you, the Court closes in 20 minutes" Tenchi said with worry in his voice, he didn't
know if it was cause he worried for his friend or the goods, he deiced to go out said for
some air, it was a nice sunny day which was a change from the rain and cold that
plagued the city day in and day out, Tenchi sat on the broken bench out side of the
house making sure not to sit on the broken parts, his mind wounded off thinking of the
money that he'd get from the goods Jin was bringing "$1,000,000,000, i cant wait, no
more crap dinners for me, no more living in small damp apartments, I'll have it made" he
whispered to him self "that's if he gets here on time, this ain't the first time it all come down
to Jin, he really done a lot for me, maybe i should share the money, after all he did do most
of the work" he thought "yeah well it wont be the last time i bet" Tenchi looked up and
and found Jin sitting a foot or 2 away from him "your here!! your here!! did you bring
'em? your here!!" Tenchi said it like he'd just won the lottery "yes i am, and I've have got
them, wasn't easy ya'know" Jin said tearing a piece of bread away and eating it "how
many did you get?" Tenchi stood up and paying full interest in what Jin said "about 12 or
so, too much?" jin said tearing about piece of bread apart and eating it "12!! that's more
then you said, not that i care how many you got, at least you got more the 2" Jin looked
up at the big grinning friend "the min was 2 and you didn't give me a max, and once i got
started i couldn't stop" Jin said going threw his back pack and finding the heads "here
ya go, 12 heads, you'd better get to The Court now" Jin said handing over the folded
sheet of heads which was almost covered in blood, Tenchi almost cried with happiness
because these 12 heads with bring him joy, fun and some stuff called money "ok i think i
will go, you coming?" Jin got up and put the rest of the bread in his backpack "nope,
later" and with that walked off "umm ok then bye" said Tenchi and walked off to The
Court. The Court was like a court house from the out side but inside it was more like a
high tech police station ,it served as a place for bounty hunters to look at who's who and
claim their money, all over the walls there were sheets of paper with pictures and info
about the wanted and what they'd done, Tenchi took a deep breath and entered the
building and up to one of the machines that dealt with collecting the reward, the machine
checked the blood, hair, eyes, spit, and any thing else it needs to identify the person
"please enter head and ID card please" the voice of the machine said, Tenchi did just
that he put the head in the circle in the middle and his ID card in the slot, a few minutes
went by with buzzes, cracks and bleeps "thank you for you services, you now have $1,052
in you account, have a nice day" the machine said ,the process went on and on till Tenchi
was out of heads "thank you, you now have $5,000,000,000,052 in you account, have a
nice day" somehow he didn't seem as happy as he'd thought he'd be with all this money
that he didn't know what to do with, it not like he wanted to live in a mansion or have a
good dinner every day or wanted any thing he could by a better apartment or a house but
that's the only thing he really wanted, fed up with thinking and talking to him self that thought
he'd go find Jin and think him.
